I am glad you are here with me

I was walking on a bridge over a river when I saw two lonely and tired boats in the river by the river bank resting side by side. They seemed like they'd given everything they had worn out but still holding on, half-drawn yet alive. I didn't have my camera, it was a shame!

It's always like that. I always seem to come up with the best photography ideas when my camera is nowhere in sight.

I took some point-and-shoot photos using my mobile phone. Was it a relief for me? Well, No. It just made it worse. I liked the composition.

The next day, I went there to take that picture. And, I was fortunate, nothing has changed since the last day.

As I looked at the boats, side by side like companions at the end of a long journey, I thought of Frodo and Sam at Mount Doom... They were just like them, side by side at the end of the world and, I could hear Frodo's voice: "I am glad you are here with me. Here at the end of all things, Sam."
